Great OUT OF PRINT collectable produced by International Masters Publishers in the late 1990’s. Provides comprehensive review of automobile including: Vital Statistics (top speed, acceleration performance, engine vitals, list price, etc…), Behind the Wheel driving impressions, Vehicle Dimensions, Development Milestones, Under the Skin engine and chassis review, Nose to Nose performance comparison to rival vehicles, etc, etc……Vivid Hi-Res photos and graphics makes for great all around reading. 4 panel/4 page sheet unfolds to 9” x 16” overall, suitable for framing. These are not regular manufacturer sales brochures made for the masses, but rather a highly detailed limited production specialized compilation previously only available by subscription. Jaguar Land Rover has reported a turnover for the year to the end of March 2011 of £9.9 billion and has made a profit (after tax) of £1.04 billion – almost £3 million a day. From proffering the begging bowl in the direction of a short-sighted Labour government in 2009 – and getting nothing without untenable conditions attached - and making plans to close one of its three UK plants, JLR’s renaissance has been astonishing.
Audi chairman to speak at CES
Wed, 06 Oct 2010Audi chairman Rupert Stadler will be a keynote speaker on Jan. 6 at the 2011 Consumer Electronics Show (CES) in Las Vegas. The Consumers Electronics Association (CEA), host of the world’s largest tradeshow for consumer technology, will feature the Audi boss in a lineup along with Microsoft CEO Steve Ballmer, Verizon CEO Ivan Seidenberg and Samsung president Boo-Keun Yoo.
2013 Bentley Continental GT Speed Convertible: First Photos
Mon, 24 Dec 2012We have the first photos of the 2013 Bentley Continental GT Speed Convertible ahead of a reveal at the 2013 Detroit Auto Show. Bentley hasn’t done the official reveal for the GT Sports Convertible yet, so all we have are the first photos in all their purpleness (although the DVLA thinks this particular Bentley is black). Under the skin we expect the same W12 with 616bhp and 590lb/ft of torque which is enough, certainly in the tin-top GT Speed, to get the monster Bentley to 62mph in 4.2 seconds and on to 205mph.
