Citroen DS3 Airflow (DS3 Convertibe) in 2013
Sun, 15 May 2011Citroen DS3 will get a Fiat 500-style folding roof and be called the DS3 AirFlow As regular readers can’t have failed to notice over the last year or so, the Citroen DS3 is one of our favourite cars. In fact so good is the DS3 we gave it our ‘Best Car when you have to pay for it yourself Award’ in our round-up of the best cars of 2010. For a car based on the dreary – if competent – Citroen C3, the DS3 is a revelation.
Porsche Macan out playing in the desert ahead of an L.A. debut (video)
Wed, 30 Oct 2013Porsche Macan (pictured) out playing in the desert ahead of an L.A. debut With Porche’s baby Cayenne – the new Porsche Macan – due to make its public debut in production guise at the Los Angeles Auto Show next month, Porsche has been busy building up interest in what should be their biggest seller in the years to come. There’s already a microsite for the Porsche Macan where Porsche has been busy teasing those who are interested with snippets of information and disguised photos, but now we get the Macan out frolicking on the sandy desert dunes in Dubai, the sort of video you’ll see from any car maker with a vehicle to show off that has off-road pretensions.
Aston Martin's Race plan
Wed, 17 Oct 2007By Ben Pulman Motor Shows 17 October 2007 15:36 It’s only just over a week since Aston Martin was sold, but today it confirmed plans to race at Le Mans. The DBR9 will return to the famous La Sarthe circuit in June. Perhaps this was inevitable, since Aston’s new non-executive chairman is David Richards - the chairman of Prodrive, which develops the DBR9 and its FIA GT3-spec sister car, the DBRS9. The team will face a tough challenge, though, as the 24-hour Le Mans is the only race that Aston Martin Racing will compete in this year.
