This is the Volkswagen Polo R WRC, a rally car-inspired hot hatch that shoehorns Golf GTI power into a Polo bodyshell. Deliveries of the strictly limited 2500-unit production run will commence in September 2013, but the bad news is that invitation doesn't extend to mainstream UK buyers. Range Rover Evoque Convertible Concept (2012)

Land Rover is exploring a convertible version of the Evoque, and will make a production decision ‘within six months’. Design director Gerry McGovern unveiled the ‘fresh out of the workshop’ concept at Pinewood Studios today (February 24); the car will make its public debut at the Geneva show in March. The Evoque convertible concept has a powered soft-top roof with a glass rear screen, which stows in a recess below the rear deck.

McLaren has started to tease the 12C Spider – the convertible 12C – ahead of full details in the next few days. We’ve know that a convertible version of the McLaren MP4-12C – the 12C Spider – has been on the way for some time, but now it’s almost here. We thought McLaren would just come out and introduce the 12C Spider, but they can’t resist teasing, although we wonder if  McLaren might be trying to take some of the gloss off the UK debut of the Ferrari 458 Spider at Goodwood this weekend by revealing the 12C Spider before the end of the Goodwood weekend?.
