European new car sales in record LOW
Thu, 26 Sep 2013European new car registrations have plunged to their LOWEST level on record after slow August sales reversed an upturn in July. Registrations of 7,841,596 new cars between January-August 2013 marked a new low for the European new car market of 27 countries – so few cars have never previously been recorded since records began in 1990. 2013 UK new car sales forecast revised upwards European new car sales continue to struggle The UK new car market is the sole exception: so far this year, new car registrations have risen 10.4%, compared to the European decline of 5.2% in the same time period.

Fri, 21 Jun 2013The new Aston Martin V12 Vantage S (pictured) is Aston’s quickest car At the end of last month, as expected, and following the ending of production of the V12 Vantage, the new Aston Martin V12 Vantage S arrived. Aston proclaimed the new V12 Vantage S as the quickest production car they’d ever built (with the exception of the £1 million One-77) but declined to tell us exactly how quick it was. But now AML have finished playing with their stopwatch and declared the V12 Vantage S will get to 62mph in 3.9 seconds (0-60mph in 3.7s), an improvement of 0.3 seconds on the V12 Vantage and giving the V12 Vantage S the edge over the car we think it should be compared to – the new Jaguar F-Type V8 S.
General Motors reshuffles Executive Design leadership team

The announcement came on the heels of news regarding the giant automaker being surpassed by rival Toyota in global sales. In an effort to bring itself out of the red, the company is reshuffling its design team in several areas.
