This K&N 77-2575KS performance cold air intake system was USED on my Ford Explorer for about a year but I sold the vehicle and now have no need for this. Everything is in perfect working condition...no damage to any of the parts...looks great. The air filter itself has been CLEANED & OILED so it is ready to mount on your vehicle. I will also include the cleaner/oil which is normally about $20 at the store. I am also include a couple factory parts that are still used with the aftermarket cold air intake. These parts originally had to be altered (one piece had to be cut off) and I can not use with the stock system (i had to reorder new parts). This will save you time and you won't have to ruin your factory parts if needed later.

  • Intake system has been used for about a year - works/looks like new
  • Air filter is cleaned/oiled so it's just like new
  • Includes a few factory parts that are altered and still needed - this means you won't have to ruin your factory parts if you need to use them later on.
  • Includes filter cleaner/oil - normally $20 at store
If you love fords, and/or bacon, you'll love the sound of this cold air intake! Gives the explorer a really mean growl...a few car guys I know even thought I had a V8.

Concept Car of the Week: AMC Amitron (1967)

Fri, 13 Dec 2013

While the American auto industry spent most of the late ‘60s creating huge barges powered by monstrous engines with loud decals on disco paint jobs, AMC believed in the future of compact cars, fuel economy, and go-faster stripes. Designed under Richard Teague's supervision, the quirky Amitron was unveiled in 1967 in a hotel in Detroit. Measuring less than 2,200mm long, it is 350mm shorter than a Smart Fortwo and its wide track gave room for three passengers seating abreast.

Both the BMW i3 and i8 concepts will be revealed at the 2011 Frankfurt motor show in September.
