VW Up! to launch at Frankfurt 2011
Sun, 07 Nov 2010The VW Up to Launch Frankfurt 2011 It seems like an awfully long time since Volkswagen announced to the world that it was going to make a small range of city cars to cope with modern eco-sensibilities and recession-motivated downsizing. In fact as long ago as April 2009 we reported that VW were to make the Up! in Bratislava with a range of super-eco three-pot engines.
BMW's iconic Art Cars visit New York's Grand Central Station
Wed, 08 Apr 2009New Yorkers were treated to a free exhibition of four of BMW's most famous Art Cars, which were part of a display in Grand Central Station last week. Over the years, leading artists have been commissioned to paint whatever they wish on a car and many have accepted, from Alexander Calder to David Hockney. There are 16 cars currently in the collection.

The top-drawer M6 is now available with a £2180 Competition Package that drops the front and rear suspension by 12mm and 10mm, retunes the DSC Dynamic Stability Control and ABS settings, and throws in a modified Variable M differential. There are also unique alloys shod with Pirelli P Zero Corsa System rubber and a restyled bonnet.
