This is a Performance Air filter system for a BMW 750il.  It contains two 6" filters, two BMW rubber elbows, and all the hardware to install this remarkable system.  I bought it for my BMW 850i, but found that you needed to do too much custom work to get it to fit under the hood.  I believe this cost more than $100.

2014 Lexus CT 200h (pictured) gets a price cut The 2014 Lexus CT 200h was revealed at the Guangzhou motor show in China back in November, and now it’s ready to order in the UK with a raft of updates and a price cut across almost the whole range. Now starting from £20,995 for the CT 200h S – £1,00 less than before – the S also sees its emissions reduced to just 82g/km and extra visual appeal with a new grill that makes the car seem wider and lower. Further up the CT 200h range, the F Sport gets the new spindle grill the IS F Sport gets as well as a new spoiler at the back with integrated air ducts.

Tomorrow's world: the touchscreen steering wheel

Mon, 13 Jun 2011

You might think the steering wheel has done a pretty good job of directing cars for the past century. But now a team of researchers from the University of Stuttgart is attempting to reinvent the wheel. The scientists have come up with a touchscreen steering wheel, which they reckon could replace the humble wheel with stereo and cruise controls.
