The 1957 Ferrari 250 Testa Rossa Prototype will be at Pebble Beach 2011 Yes, much of the world is labouring under an economic cloud, but that doesn’t stop the world’s wealthy car collectors bidding for very special cars such as this 1957 Ferrari 250 Testa Rossa Prototype. This particular 250 TR is something rather special – although they all are, of course – because it is one of the original prototypes for the Testa Rossa and is expected to beat the current world car auction record – around $30M for a 1936 Bugatti Type 57SC Atlantic – when it appears at Pebble Beach next month. Bill Ford outlines 'Blueprint for Mobility' vision [w/video]

Ford Motor Company Executive Chairman Bill Ford outlined a plan this week to develop connected cars to combat congestion on the roads in the future. His speech at the Mobile World Congress in Barcelona, Spain was the first ever to be delivered at the annual communications industry event by an automotive industry executive. TED was there to capture the event on video (see left).

By Ben Pulman First Official Pictures 03 March 2009 12:39 This funky little concept car is Nissan’s new Qazana, a preview of an all-new sub-Qashqai crossover that’ll be built at the company’s Sunderland plant in 2010. All of the concept’s real, from its suicide rear doors through to its 20-inch wheels, but don’t expect much of this to translate onto the production car. The fancy doors and big rims will disappear, but the real thing will still have the muscular yet curvaceous lines of the Qazana concept.
