Honday Odyssey minivan recalled due to fire risk

Honda is recalling some 886,815 Odyssey minivans manufactured between 2005 and 2010, citing a risk of fire due to a possible fuel leak. The cause of the recall, which was announced on the NHTSA website on March 13, is a a cover on the fuel pump strainer which Honda believes can deteriorate and crack. The manufacturer stated that the fault can lead to a fuel smell or to a fuel leak which would pose a risk of fire.

New Citroen DS3 Cabrio costs from £15,045

Citroen has revealed the new DS3 Cabrio will cost from £15,045 and come in three trim specs - DSign, DStyle & DSport. The Citroen DS3 is already one of our favourite cars, and Citroen has made sure the DS3 Cabrio still looks good with the roof up – and kept costs in check – by using a similar ‘landaulette’ style roof to the Fiat 500C, where the cabrio but is more like a long, canvas sunroof that site on the boot when open. This is the new Mercedes F800 Style, a stunning concept car that the Germany company will unveil at the 2010 Geneva motor show next month. The exterior previews the next CLS (and Mercedes’ future design language) while under the skin there’s all sorts of clever tech, from the next generation of HMI control systems to plug-in and fuel-cell powertrains. Mercedes calls it a ‘multi-drive platform’, and the F800 Style is built to take both hydrogen fuel-cell and plug-in hybrid powertrains, with the former offering a range of 375 miles and the latter allowing for 19 zero-emissions miles.
