Description

K-Tuned Delrin Shift Knobs feature a tear drop shaped design that feels very comfortable and natural in any drivers hand. The final shape and texture did take some time to get perfect because delrin is a stable and stiff material with a normally low co-efficient of friction. This meant that adding the proper texture to the finished surface was very important in order to increase grip. Our knobs are made on a CNC lathe with a 2 piece alumimum shaft that passes though the entire length to increase overall strength. Available in your choice of black or white with our signature “K” logo engraved in the aluminum on the top. A custom made jam nut is included to keep the knob locked in place. These are a great option to finish off any shifter setup.

    We've become accustomed to surprising and – at times – bizarre news stories emerging from Lotus since Danny Behar became CEO. But judging from reaction in the world of social media this afternoon, even by Lotus's recent standards, the news that it has appointed American rapper Swizz Beatz as its vice president of Creative Design and Global Marketing, came as something of a surprise. Kasseem Daoud Dean, otherwise known as Swizz Beatz, has a broad creative background, having a portfolio that includes music producer, rapper, designer and painter.

    Hyundai ix35 Hydrogen FCEV arrives in the UK

    The first Hyundai ix35 Hydrogen FCEVs hit the road in London (pictured) The Hyundai ix35 FCEV is the world’s first hydrogen powered production car (although production is very limited at the moment) and the first five ix35 FCEVs are about to hit London’s roads. The hydrogen-powered ix35s are part of the London Hydrogen Network Expansion (LNHE) project which aims to build acceptance of hydrogen powered vehicles and build a proper hydrogen transport infrastructure, initially on London and the south east. Hyundai are actually planning to build 1,000 ix35 FCEVs over thye next couple of years, but the majority of those will be heading for Europe where the EU has a number of projects running to promote hydrogen use for road vehicles.

    Chrysler reveals new 2014 Jeep Cherokee

    Chrysler Group revealed photographs and the name of its replacement for the Jeep Liberty on Friday after unofficial photographs of the 2014 Jeep Cherokee showed up earlier in the day. The automaker had hoped to keep the mid-size SUV -- and its name -- secret until a planned reveal at the New York auto show in late March. However, photos of several 2014 Cherokees taken during pre-production at Chrysler's Toledo North Assembly plant were unveiled Friday morning on the site Jalopnik.com.
