K-Tuned Throttle Body Heat Shield Gasket

PRB 02-04 RSX

For Throttle Body bolt onto OEM K20A2 PRB Intake Manifold

The K-Tuned throttle body heat shield gaskets are manufactured with a high grade temperature insulating plastic. They are precision cut and designed to replace the listed oem gaskets. By insulating the intake and throttle body from the engine heat, it will decrease the intake air temperature, and increase horsepower!

The cylinder head gets quite hot when your engine is running. The purpose of these gaskets is to break the transfer of heat between the cylinder head and the intake manifold and throttlebody to create lower incoming air temps. As air heats up, it's density drops, reducing oxygen content, robbing you of power because your ecu has to compensate with less fuel. On average, you lose about 1% of density for every 5 degrees farenheit of increased temp!

With this K-Tuned Throttle Body Gasket installed, Heatsoak is a thing of the past

Hyundai to tone down ‘Fluidic Design’ for ‘Fluidic Precision’

Mon, 23 Jul 2012

Hyundai’s US boss, John Krafcik, has said that Hyundai will refine their ‘Fluidic Design’ in to something they’re calling ‘Fludic Precision’. The Hyundai Fluidic Design language was really the start of Hyundai’s move from Halford’s special to mainstream car maker. But the design language is starting to look a bit fussy and Hyundai are reacting to that by moving towards what they call ‘Fluidic Precision’ (there’s already a less fussy look about the new Santa Fe).

David Brown Automotive Speedback UK debut at Goodwood Festival of Speed (video)

Fri, 13 Jun 2014

The David Brown Automotive Speedback (above) gets its UK debut at the Goodwood FoS The reveal of the David Brown Automotive Speedback was a pleasant surprise. We’d expected the Speedback to be yet another take on the E-Type – based as it is on the underpinnings of the still very able Jaguar XKR – but instead it was a proper classic GT car that looks much like a classic Aston Martin from the 1960s – think DB5/DB6. Glorious though a DB5 or DB6 is to own, a lot of the time they’re more a work of art to covet than a car you can drive every day.
