New fuel-economy labels will baffle buyers, survey says

Wed, 06 Oct 2010

A survey released this week suggests that revised fuel economy labels proposed by federal regulators will confuse many likely car buyers -- and will emphasize the wrong information. The branding strategy firm Siegel+Gale performed an independent online survey of 456 people over the age of 18 who intended to buy a car in the next three years. Founder Alan Siegel told Automotive News that the survey was not directly requested but has been sent to the EPA and National Highway Traffic Safety Administration during the ongoing public comment period.

Britain leads bumper year for Ferrari

Fri, 12 Sep 2014

FERRARI may be struggling on the Formula One track, but its bank accounts are in fine shape after profits reached new record highs. After delivering 3,631 cars in the first six months of the year – 3.6% fewer than the me period in 2013, in line with the company's plans to reduce deliveries – revenues were up 14.5% to almost £1.35 billion. Profits rose 5.2% to £185 million, which should pay for a good send-off for the outgoing Ferrari Chairman Luca di Montezemolo after his 23 years of service.

Based on the Nissan Teana, the SM5 is the second best-selling vehicle in Korea's D1 segment, ceding the top spot to Hyundai's Sonata. The most significant change to the exterior design is visible around the front bumper region, where the strong 'chin' (lower section of bumper volume) displays both solid and aggressive styling cues when viewed from the front.
