The part number on the emblem is hard to read.  From what I can tell the numbers are 6698 123.
 Please look at photo's before bidding.  Again I am not sure about the part number.
This is a script emblem and it would make a great addition to your collection or restoration project.
Looks like it will clean up nicely.  Mounting brackets are worn off, and looks like adhesive is on back of bracket.  
Looks likeadhesive might be able to soak off during your restoration of emblem, but I am not sure about that.

Fourth Chinese Auto Design Competition launched

The fourth Chinese Auto Design Contest officially launched in Beijing last week. Sponsored by China's Society of Automotive Engineers, the China Industrial Design Association, the Beijing Municipal Science and Technology Commission and the Beijing Fengtai District People's Government, the competition is the largest and most authoritative state-level professional event. Held biennially, this year's Chinese Auto Design competition is divided into two categories: Design Innovation (which judges current vehicles created by automakers) and Creative Design.

Designer Albrecht Graf Goertz dies

One of the world's legendary designers, Albrecht Graf Goertz, has died aged 92. Goertz was best known for his work at BMW, though he also worked with Porsche, Nissan and Toyota during his career. His most acclaimed works are the BMW 503 and 507 models - but Goertz also had a hand in the design of the 1964 Silvia 1600 Sports Coupe.
