Land Rover has released pictures of the new Freelander (LR2), due to be launched at the British Motor Show in July. Harder edged than its predecessor, the chiselled exterior has simpler surfaces that update the same overall styling theme. The profile of the new car is more dynamic, borrowing cues from Range Rover Sport, though the stepped roofline has been diluted.

BMW launches i sub-brand

BMW yesterday revealed one of the more significant mobility plans since the inception of the automobile: the BMW i sub-brand. The new brand seeks to integrate sustainable elements with a slew of powerful technology whilst simultaneously improving mobility across both private and public platforms. The first vehicles will be launched in 2013.

Hyundai Performance Brand by 2015

The next gen Hyundai i20 will be the first performance Hyundai One Hyundai had made the tricky transition from budget to credible, there were only two routes open for progress – luxury and performance.
