This motor was remanufactured by SBT for me. It's a freshwater motor from the Great State of Michigan... never seen saltwater.. has very low hours on their work..hull joined a boat dock...dock won.
Please look at the compression readings :: they are above factory specs.. Comes exactly as pictured with the oil pump eliminating plate, remanufactured starter, cables and wiring attached and pictured. I paid almost $2000 for this ...my loss ...been sitting in my heated garage. Had put a little Marvel Mystery Oil in it to keep her slippery..Will meet if your local 1/2 way .. Saab to get BMW turbocharged engines in 2012
Wed, 29 Sep 2010Saab Automobile and BMW AG announced an agreement Wednesday that will supply engines for Saab's next-generation 9-3. Under the agreement, BMW will provide Saab with four-cylinder 1.6-liter turbocharged gasoline engines starting in 2012. The engines will be adapted to meet Saab's specific requirements.

Instead of the almost cutesy looks of the 2008, the 2008 DKR gets looks that could have come from Mad Max with a sinister-looking black paint job, just two doors, short overhangs for better obstacle negotiation, 37″ off-road tyres and a thumping great wing at the back. Unlike most cars that tackle the Dakar, Peugeot has decided that rear-wheel-drive is the way to go as it allows for bigger wheels and more suspension travel, rather than the four-wheel-drive preferred by the majority of entrants.
