Your Fisker Karma is ready, Mr Di Caprio

Wed, 13 Jul 2011

The firts Fisker Karma is off to Leonardo di Caprio - without the leggy passenger The Fisker Karma has been on its way for what seems a very long time. But finally, Henrik Fisker’s eponymous company is delivering what it’s been promising, and the first recipient later this month of the Karma will be Leonardo di Caprio. Henrik Fisker has a few more famous faces in his 3,000 order bank including Al Gore (former vice President and the man with the disingenuous climate-change campaign to his credit) and Colin Powell (best know for the Gulf war and being the only man called Colin who can’t pronounce his own name).

Sat, 14 Apr 2012

Scion FR-S Speedster Toyota Racing will debut a convertible GT86 in the shape of the Scion FR-S Speedster at the Toyota Grand Prix of Long Beach. Even before the Toyota GT 86 hit the roads we were expecting a convertible version to be not far behind. In fact, Toyota’s chief engineer, Tetsuya Tada, confirmed last month that the GT86 / Subaru BRZ / Scion FR-S was conceived as a convertible and that Toyota are working on a production version.

McLaren Qualified launched for Approved Used McLarens

Sat, 13 Apr 2013

But it’s been a long time since McLaren actually built a road car – the McLaren F1 – and that car wasn’t exactly mainstream, so there was no real dealer network or support for used McLarens. Well, there was, but it doesn’t translate in a to real production models as it involved sending your car back to Woking for service or McLaren finding a buyer for your F1 (for a commission). So McLaren has built up a dealer network and now it’s decided it’s time to launch a ‘McLaren Approved’ programme for used McLarens - McLaren Qualified – which involves McLaren taking used 12Cs and giving them a bumper-to-bumper qualification check, fitting any upgrades the car needs and bolting on a minimum two year unlimited mileage warranty and McLaren Roadside Assistance.
