2009 Nissan GT-R Review

Sun, 04 Jan 2009

Cars UK [rating:5.0] The electrifying Nissan GT-R [ad#ad-1] Car makers who produce mass-market cars dream of having a ‘halo’ car, a car which showcases the extreme abilities of the maker and gets accepted as a supercar in its own right. It’s a hard thing to pull off, and usually ends up as a great car, but with little or no kudos. A recent examples of failure in this area is VW with the Phaeton.

Lotus's glimmer of hope: Proton stands by Hethel

Wed, 09 Jan 2013

After another painful year of sales for Lotus in the UK – down 58% on 2011 - Norfolk's beleagured sports car brand has kicked off the New Year with the grand unveiling of its new flagship Malaysian showroom, and the thumbs-up from senior Proton company suits that Lotus isn't on its last legs. New Nissan Navara NP300 pick-up arrives

Styling on the new Navara isn’t dramatically different to the current model, but the 2015 Navara does look a bit more glitzy with its new chrome grill, chrome mirrors,  detail crease down the side, black B-pillars and some very non-utilitarian colour choices like Savannah Yellow. Inside, Nissan has moved the Navara up a notch or two in quality and ergonomics with a high-res colour display, aluminium trim (well, trim that looks aluminium), decent seats and a new steering wheel.
