In 1979, at least 3 new KE100's were donated to a semi local technical college for the students to learn the engine and fuel system inner workings. The remaining parts were haphazardly stored for 36 years. I bought most of what was left and will list everything as time allows. This cover shows some light scratches and shelf rash marks. Offered as is.
Brand:Kawasaki Surface Finish:plastic Placement on Vehicle:Rear Warranty:No Manufacturer Part Number:53043-009-6R Country/Region of Manufacture:Japan

. From a 1979 KE100-A8, color is S. Yellow. The bike had at most 4 miles, reason for that was in 1979, 3 new bikes were donated to a technical college for the students to learn the inner workings of the engines, fuel and oil injection systems. All of the other parts were shelved. I recently acquired some of those parts. This cover shows some light scratches and marks due to mishandling and shelf rash. Mounting screws included. Offered as is.

My Kawasaki dealer interchange microfiche indicates the basic part number 53043-009, rear fender cover, fits 1972-75 G5 100 and 1976-81 KE100. The final two digits, 6R, indicate color. The fender covers are exactly the same, the colors are not. As with most manufacturers the final digits indicate some small change, usually color. Kawasaki, Yamaha and Suzuki also do this.

FYI, online parts diagram sites are often incorrect as to fitment. You've seen it time after time. For instance, a part that fits only 1969-72 H1 500, the online site indicates the full run of that model, 1969-76 H1 and KH500. Bottom line, you must know the correct part number you seek and not end up with the wrong part from a seller who exclusively quotes the online sites.

If there are other parts in my store that you wish to purchase at the same time, I will package all together and refund the S&H difference.

Thanks for looking and please ride safely.

Mercedes CLA: Official

Mon, 14 Jan 2013

The new Mercedes CLA – the ‘baby’ CLS based on the new A Class – has finally been revealed ahead of going on sale in the UK in May 2013. The very stylish four-door coupe styling based on the new Mercedes A Class has survived almost intact from the Style Concept, offering buyers looking for a smaller Mercedes a real alternative to the CLS without sacrificing anything other than a size. Despite being revealed on the eve of the Detroit Auto Show, the new Mercedes CLA will actually make its public debut at the Berlin Fashion Week this week as Mercedes seek to mark the CLA’s design out as a ‘Style Rebel’.

MINI JCW Roadster rides the ‘Ring

Wed, 06 Jul 2011

MINI JCW Roadster pounding the Nurburgring Now we’ve got the MINI Coupe out in the open, with and without its swirly black and white camouflage, it must be close to MINI doing the same with the Roadster. Which is probably why we have spy photos of the MINI JCW Roadster pounding round the Nurburgring – last shakedowns, we assume. Because we can’t imagine MINI dragging out the reveal of the production model Roadster much past Frankfurt – if it takes that long – which will be a full two years on from when MINI first revealed the 2-seater MINI Roadster – the soft top twin of the MINI Coupe.
