Ok listen people. Yes this hinge has no lock or spring. But its only 175.00 dollars. You want the hinge with the lock and spring go pay 450 from rad dudes. I used a modified helper spring from an sxr and it worked just fine. This is a hood hinge off my Kawasaki Gen 2 X2 Jet ski and its Works good and is Solid at a reasonable price.
