According to Bryan Nesbitt, Vice President of Design at GM International Operations, "We are excited about the potential regarding a China-dedicated competition. Design is the initial product differentiator in the automotive retail space, so demand for top design talent will continue." Mon, 08 Jun 2009VW have issued a Press Release today on the BlueSport Concept Comeback of compact agility Behind the two sport seats of the 3.99 meter long Concept BlueSport (axle load distribution: 45:55) is an exclusively boosted TDI or TSI engine that delivers dynamics – these are high-tech engines that consume little yet deliver a lot. In the first prototype, it is a 132 kW / 180 PS strong Clean Diesel (TDI) with common rail injection and downstream NOx storage catalytic converter. At a low 1,750 rpm – right from the engine speed ‘cellar’ – the 2.0 liter turbo engine develops its maximum torque of 350 Newton-meters.

Mon, 21 Apr 2014The 2014 MINI Paceman (pictured) gets a minor facelift Despite the all new MINI Hatch being revealed earlier this year, it’ll be a couple of years before the over-sized MINI Countryman gets replaced, which is why MINI recently revealed a facelift for the Countryman to keep it current. Logic says that if the Countryman is getting a facelift then so should its coupe sibling – the MINI Paceman – and MINI has duly obliged by revealing a very small series of updates for the 2014 / 2015 Paceman. In truth, this could be the last iteration of the Paceman we see as rumour has it MINI won’t be continuing with the Pacemena when the all new Countryman arrives in 2016, and they haven’t exactly gone overboard with the changes to the coupe Countryman either.
