NOTE!!

  • Shipping cost is actual (from Norway, cheapest type), please do not blaim me for the expensive rates from the Norwegian Post.
  • Please review my other items for sale, check out if there are any parts you could combine.
  • Not all parts sold as NOS genuine will have the OEM lable due to that only one lable follows several items.

ADDITIONAL INFO:

Due to questions received about the items I do emphasize that the Bodies are OEM style reproductions just to remove any doubt or misunderstanding.
I have compared them to the old originals that came with my 1969 H1 when it was new and to some later Genuine as well.
The invicible differences I have notised are that the Aluminum bodies are not stamped Asahi Denso inside and the gasket is of neoprene rubber instead of ordinar rubber.
Those differenses are not visible unless you dismount the turnsignals.

The visible difference is that if you look close you will notice there is no logo at the front of the lens.

The lenses are very nice reproduction with a very high quality mould fully compatible quality with the Genuine, but no logo - please check the picture..

California racetrack serves wine in a can

Fri, 29 Apr 2011

A NASCAR race may be a prime place for knocking back cold beers, but those looking to class up their racing libations can now reach for a chilled Flasq wine in an aluminum can shaped like a bottle. Sonoma Valley, Calif.'s, Infineon Raceway, the site of one of NASCAR's road-course races, has entered into a partnership with California-based Flasq, which is domestic wine sold in quick-chilling and 100 percent recyclable bottles. Starting with this weekend's Ferrari challenge, Flasq will be available at the track throughout the 2011 racing season.

McLaren MP4-12C to cost £168,500

Wed, 24 Nov 2010

McLaren will charge £168,500 for the MP4-12C supercar in the UK. That's the new 2011 price, including the rise in VAT from 17.5% to 20% from 1 January. Today's news means that the MP4-12C will cost £1000 less than a Ferrari 458 Italia, its arch rival, at existing tax rates.

Maybach Zeppelin comes over the horizon

Thu, 12 Feb 2009

The Maybach Zeppelin - an even bigger waste of money than the standard Maybach Maybach has not exactly been an unmitigated success for Mercedes. Conceived as a competitor for Rolls Royce, it does seem to have carved itself a niche, but probably not the one that Mercedes wanted. Perceived by most as a tarted-up S Class, and bought by the wealthy of the Playstation generation, rather than the Captains of Industry that Mercedes envisioned, the Maybach must be a loss-maker for Mercedes.
