Bentley teases Arnage successor

Wed, 10 Jun 2009

Bentley is giving a glimpse of its future this morning with a teaser shot of the Arnage successor due out in 2011. Look for a public debut this summer, possibly in concept form at the Pebble Beach concours, where the British luxury maker is one of the featured companies as it marks its 90th anniversary. Details are scarce, though the teaser shows a lengthy hood, a prominent grille and big fenders--hallmarks of the Bentley line.

Peugeot 208 Hybrid FE (2013) at Frankfurt motor show

Tue, 27 Aug 2013

Here’s Peugeot’s salvo in the fight to make cars more economical: the 208 Hybrid FE. The supermini concept can achieve a claimed average of 112mpg (and a maximum of 141mpg), and emits only 49g/km of CO2. Peugeot is especially keen to point out it’s a conventionally shaped supermini with five seats, unlike VW’s own super-frugal XL1, which looks decidedly sci-fi in comparison, but has a smaller boot than a Ferrari 458… The 208 FE is 25% slipperier and 20% lighter than a regular 208, but that’s only part of the reason it allegedly achieves such eye-opening numbers at the pumps.

Chevrolet Corvette C7 mule caught testing

Thu, 19 Apr 2012

Editor's Note: The video attached to this story has been removed from Youtube and is no longer available. Chevrolet's C7 Corvette was caught testing out on the open streets, and Autoweek has the video. From the short YouTube clip, this C7 Corvette appears to be wearing different wheels than the C7 that Autoweek published photos of earlier this year.
