Porsche 911 (2011) the first official video of the 991
Tue, 19 Jul 2011Prototypes of Porsche’s new 991-spec 911 haven’t been snapped out on test by our spies this week, so just in case you’ve been having withdrawal symptoms, Stuttgart’s most famous sports car manufacturer has released its own video of its iconic car. What does Porsche’s official video of the new 911 reveal? Shot in South Africa during the 991’s final validation and testing phase, the video is our best look yet at the new 911 on the move. We finally get to hear the flat six engines, and get glimpses under the bonnet and inside its Panamera-inspired interior – look closely and you can spy the seven forward speeds etched onto the gearknob for the manual ‘box. Beyond that there’s little more to see, as Porsche won’t reveal the new 911 until the 2011 Frankfurt motor show this September.
New Range Rover (2013): The Reviews (+video)
Sat, 27 Oct 2012Media reviews for the 2013 Range Rover have been going on in Morocco this week, so we have a round-up and video. Sadly, Cars UK didn’t get an invite, but that’s not going to stop us doing our own ‘review’ of what the lucky ones who did attend thought of the Range Rover. And we’ve also got hold of Land Rover’s B-Roll footage from the tests – designed to be chopped up and voiced-over for individual video reviews of the new Range Rover – so we’ve put that at the bottom for you to flick through.
F1 Korean Grand Prix: Red Bull CGI Video
Sun, 17 Oct 2010Red Bull treat us to a CGI of the new F1 track in South Korea The F1 Circus gets bigger and bigger every year as Bernie Ecclestone continues his aim to host a Grand Prix in every country that can scrape together a few hundred million to add to the bank of Ecclestone. And one of the newest to succumb to the charms of Bernie and F1 is South Korea. There have been doubts that South Korea would get their act together and have their shiny new F1 facility ready to roll for 24th October (next Sunday), but it looks like the track has been signed off for next week’s race.
