Up for auction is a crankshaft removed from a very well kept js440. The ski was all stock and kept in fresh water for most of its life. the crank has some light  surface rust in the small end of the rods from sitting  in a box for about a year but should clean up fine. i had planned on using it on a js550 that needed a crank but decided to part with it as well. the bearings spin freely and the rods do not have any slop. should fit all js440's and 550's. if you have any questions please feel free to message me. Thanks for looking!

Video: Duel for the Crown: Ferrari F40 versus 599 GTB Fiorano

Fri, 30 Sep 2011

What's better than an open desert mountain road? How about having a Ferrari or two with which to tackle it--especially when said steeds are the famed F40 and a 599 GTB Fiorano? This recently released video from Ferrari shows that, while decades separate the cars, and their ethos are on opposite ends of the spectrum, the pure performance isn't so different--a fact that speaks highly of the F40.

Japanese Grand Prix 2012: Vettel on pole for Red Bull

It looks like Red Bull have found form again ahead of tomorrow’s Japanese Grand Prix, with Sebastian Vettel taking pole position and Mark Webber in second place. Behind the Red Bulls is Jenson Button in the McLaren, although he’ll actually start five places back after a penalty for changing a gearbox after Singapore – probably wise after Hamilton retired in Singapore after his gearbox gave up the ghost.

Telematics box aids attempted murderer conviction

Fri, 20 Dec 2013

A ‘BLACK BOX’ telematics device fitted to a hire car has played a significant role in the conviction of an attempted murderer. The device had been previously installed into a car hired by Daniel Paita, 32; a car he was driving on the day he carried out an attack on a man in Glasgow. Paita had claimed he was nowhere near the area, but anti-motoring fraud experts at Asset Protection Unit Ltd (APU) were able to ascertain the car’s true whereabouts via a tracking device within the telematics unit.
