About the 2D Power Tip:
The 2D Power Tip is a replacement for the factory OEM tip on your stock pipe. The 2D Power Tip's large diameter, tapered outlet will flow much more exhaust gas than the small outlet of your stock tip. This increase in flow will provide a nice "throaty" sound and increase the power output from the engine. The 3D Power Tip offers similar performance to an aftermarket exhaust system... for hundreds of dollars less!

Re-Jetting is generally not necessary when installing this tip... Just install and ride!

If you have made other modifications to your stock setup (air filter, etc.) you may want to consult with your local dealer about proper jetting adjustments for your climate and altitude. Airbox / air filter modifications and re-jetting may allow for additional power gains from this 3D Power Tip.

The 2D Power Tip is CNC machined from billet. It starts out as a solid bar of aluminum that is turned on a CNC lathe to create the bore, taper, and its rounded profile. Then it is mounted into our 4 axis CNC mill and machined with the precise mounting locations for an exact fitment to your bike's exhaust pipe. Porsche has built a special 911 Carrera 4S (pictured) to celebrate 5 million Facebook Fans Car makers do like to get their Facebook fans to ‘design’ a car; it’s a good way of drawing fans in to the brand and give them an idea of what floats buyers’ boats. Some are not all that impressive, but the 911 Carrera 4S Porsche has built in celebration of getting 5 million fans on Facebook – designed with input from those fans – is actually quite understated. It comes in a quite fetching shade of Aqua Blue Metallic, a set of white 20″ alloys (a bit tacky), sports suspension and exhaust, an Aerokit with big back spoiler, personalised sill plates, brushed aluminium trim inside and a plaque telling the world this is a Porsche designed by 5 million Facebook fans.

Jaguar Land Rover to build new £400m Engine Plant in Wolverhampton

New JLR Engine Plant to be built in Wolverhampton Update 19th September: Jaguar has now confirmed our story, although the cost is expected to be £335 million and the number of new jobs 750. We’d guess the 2,00 jobs we quoted in the original story includes jobs created in the supply chain. Work is expected to start on the new engine plant in early 2012.

VW Golf R Launched

The Volkswagen Golf R has launched at Frankfurt Update 31/10/09: VW Golf R UK Detail now released. We reported yesterday on much of the detail on the new Golf R, but the Golf is such a big deal for so many that we thought we ought to re-iterate, throw in a few pictures of the Golf R on the floor at Frankfurt and re-cap on the goodies on offer. The Golf R gets the same powerplant as the Scirocco R, but it also adds Volkswagen’s 4Motion AWD to the mix.
