Honda recalls 1.5 million Accord, CR-V and Element models for transmission fix
Fri, 05 Aug 2011Honda is recalling 1.5 million cars and crossovers to reprogram the transmission control software to prevent damage if the automatic transmission is used to rock the vehicle out from being stuck in mud or snow. The recall covers the Accord and the CR-V and Element crossovers from the 2005 through 2010 model years. The vehicles being recalled have four-cylinder engines.

Due for launch in 2015, the RC F’s public debut won’t be restricted to a static display, as the car will also be driven up the famous Goodwood hill over the course of the festival weekend. At the car’s heart is a 5.0-litre, 450 horsepower petrol V8 motor, while trick electronics ensure its remains stable despite the considerable power available at the driver’s disposal.

Now he's been made the permanent CEO of Vauxhall and Opel, making him the man charged with guiding GM's European division back to profitability.GM has big plans for Opel and Vauxhall, but has made no secret that there will be widespread pain and change before the good times return. The turnaround plan is nearing completion and it's expected there will be around 8300 redundancies, spread around Europe.
