This auction is for a nice recovered seat that was removed from a 1980 Kawasaki KZ 1000G LTD Classic.  It has the ability to hold the engine computer module for the rare fuel injected G model.  This seat is slightly longer than the other KZ1000 seats and the G Model doesn't have the tail fairing.  The seat cover is in very good condition and the pan is also nice and very clean.  Foam is good - it's a very comfortable seat.  Included are the rubber pads and the latch but not the seat hinge pins.

A couple of the photos show the seat mounted on my 1980 KZ1000 LTD Classic before it was removed and listed on eBay for sale.

BMW bobsled carries Team USA to Winter Olympics victory

Wed, 19 Feb 2014

At the Sochi Winter Olympics, Team USA took home its first medal in two-man bobsledding since 1952. Steven Holcomb, a former Alpine skier and National Guard soldier, and partner Steven Langton raced to a third-place finish in the event -- despite Holcomb's sprained left calf that doctors had to treat long into the night before the race. The margin of victory for the bronze medal was just 0.03 second.

Renault Captur

Fri, 11 Jan 2013

Renault has unveiled its new Captur ahead of its official debut in Geneva. The carmaker's first urban crossover borrows many of the same design cues as the latest Clio - unveiled in Paris last year – such as the tapering headlamps, grille and low air intake. The fog lamps are now surrounded by stainless steel, which helps to frame the lower air intake.
