Hyundai i20 and ix55 (2008) first pictures
Wed, 03 Sep 2008By Ben Pulman First Official Pictures 03 September 2008 11:21 This is Hyundai’s i20, the Korean company’s replacement for the Getz supermini. The new i20 will debut at the Paris motor show in October 2008, along with a plethora of low-emissions concepts and a new seven-seat 4x4. Sitting on an all-new platform with a wheelbase longer than the existing Getz, the i20 is Hyundai’s Ford Fiesta rival.
Seat Bocanegra (2008): first official pictures
Mon, 03 Mar 2008By Tim Pollard First Official Pictures 03 March 2008 22:47 What’s new on Seat’s Geneva Motor Show stand? It’s all about the new Ibiza on the Mediterranean-themed Seat stand today. Forget the Bocanegra badge, this concept is a thinly veiled teaser for the new supermini due to hit showrooms at the end of the year.It looks pretty special, a tantalisingly taut three-door supermini with good proportions and a fresh take on the swooping wheelarch line that has come to epitomise modern Seats. We’re less keen on the blindspot-inducing quarterlights, though.
Jaguar XK 5.0 Portfolio Convertible Review – Richard Madeley
Tue, 29 Sep 2009Richard Madeley spends a week with Jaguar's XK Convertible I’ve always held a torch for Jaguars; forgave them their trespasses even back in the bad old 1970s; loved them as things of beauty even when they weren’t. Whatever the model, whatever the year, they were Jaguars, and that was that. A bit like the Beatles’ White Album – a classic, for all the obvious flaws that only a crashing bore would draw attention to.
