Kawasaki Vintage Snowmobile 1980 LTD 4/6 L/C TC440C-A201 Engine Serial Number TC440C-001806.  This engine has the following features:

  • Quad Plug - 2 plugs per clylinder
  • Factory Ported Cylinders
  • Dual electronic (CDI) ignition (CDI and Ignition Coils are not included with this engine)

Engine comes with:
  • Carb boots
  • Recoil starter 
Condition:
  • This engine was a strong running engine with low mileage when removed
  • Engine is all original - pistons, rings, gaskets, etc
  • Good compression with cylinders both reading the same lbs with no side to side leakage (within spec)
  • Very clean engine
  • Engine has been in controlled storage for 4-5 years
While this engine has not been bench tested I see nothing that would indicate it would require a rebuild.  Should be able to fire this engine up with a minimum of effort.

This engine is the same size and has the same mounting as the Invader 440 engine - all the electronics (CDI, Coils, Stator Plate, Flywheel, Ignition Coils, and wiring Harness connections

This is one of about 12 engines that I have had in my inventory that are being listed (including another 80 4/6 engine).

This engine will ship in a specially designed crate which should be reusable for you.

NOTE: this engine is available for pickup if you wish to avoid the shipping charges.

New Volkswagen Golf Plus BlueMotion Introduced

Volkswagen has introduced the new VW Golf Plus BlueMotion The new VW Golf Plus Bluemotion is basically a Golf Plus with the standard BlueMotion tricks added to improve economy and emissions. These include low rolling resistance tyres, revised gear ratios, start-stop and regenerative braking – the usual box of tricks. The 1.6 litre common rail diesel engine in the Golf Plus BlueMotion – down from 1.9 litres in the old Golf Plus BlueMotion – manages 65.7 mpg and emissions of 114g/km, an improvement of 11% in economy and 10% in emissions.

This is the new 'downsized' Bentley Continental - the new 2012 V8. Downsizing is relative, of course, but it's a significant move from Bentley as it expands the Conti range down from the lofty heights of today's 6.0 W12. The new Continental V8 coupe and GTC V8 convertible premiere the VW group's new 4.0-litre V8, codeveloped with Audi.

Vauxhall Astra GTC - the 3 door Astra will be revealed in June Actually, we’re not sure we should really have called this a reveal of the new Vauxhall Astra GTC. It’s more the reveal of the production version of the GTC Concept we already saw at the Paris Motor Show last year. Surprisingly, the Astra GTC manages to hang on to quite a bit of the style of the GTC Concept, such as the blistered wheel arches and the deep grill, although the usual conpcety stuff – like oversized alloys – have had to bite the dust.
