Škoda 2013 Octavia
Tue, 11 Dec 2012The 2013 Škoda Octavia has been unveiled ahead of its world debut at the Geneva motor show in March. Škoda design chief Jozef Kabaň and his team completely redesigned the outgoing second-generation model and it has grown in length and width by 90 mm and 45 mm respectively. The wheelbase has also grown by 108mm, making more room for the occupants inside.
New Vivaro van secures 1,200 UK jobs
Tue, 24 Jun 2014MOTOR giant Vauxhall has launched a new van, securing 1,200 jobs over the next decade, with the prospect of more workers being recruited. The Vivaro will be built at the firm's plant in Luton, which is the UK's only factory making vans, in a £185 million investment. Up to 70,000 vans will be built a year, with around half being exported.
