Now that Volkswagen has the Mk7 Golf in the wild – and the MK 7 VW GTi too – they’re ready to turn the wick up to 11 with the launch of the MK 7 Golf R – or at least the concept version – at the 2013 Geneva Motor Show. Ford chairman Bill Ford has unveiled the new Ford Mustang at the firm’s Go Further technology workshop in Barcelona. MSN Cars is here reporting live from the event, and far from the unveiling of an irrelevant American muscle car, the new Mustang is actually rather pertinent. That’s because when it goes on sale in 2015, it’ll officially be coming to the UK in right-hand drive guise for the first time, baring some very European engineering features.

Kia to unveil Cub concept at Seoul motor show

Kia will unveil its new Cub compact four-door coupé crossover concept at this week's Seoul motor show. Designed by Kia's Namyang Design Center in Hwaseong, South Korea, the concept measures in at less than four meters long and is the latest in a series of explorations into Kia's B- and C-segment future models, following last year's Trackster concept and the Provo concept shown at the Geneva show earlier this month. From the single released image, the Cub features another possible direction for Kia's now-familar tiger-nose DRG with a slim, horizontal air intake running underneath two-point LED headlamps.
