Citroen C-Cactus concept's green secrets
Mon, 17 Sep 2007By Tim Pollard Motor Shows 17 September 2007 12:52 Citroen C-Cactus: the lowdown Citroen’s C-Cactus concept car on show at Frankfurt signals the start of a programme to investigate simplifying the construction of its cars –stripping out unnecessary weight, complexity and emissions from its everyday hatchbacks and saloons. Teewave AR1 (2011) - Gordon Murray's roadster unveiled
Wed, 21 Sep 2011It may have a daft name - let's face it, driving a car called a Teewave does sound terrifically uncool - but Gordon Murray Design's latest creation is a very important vehicle. We joined design director Barry Lett at GMD on the day Project T32 was being primed for shipment to Tokyo for its public debut by Toray.
Gronholm makes explosive debut at Pikes Peak
Fri, 24 Jul 2009By Alex Michaelides Motor Shows 24 July 2009 11:55 Finnish rally ace Marcus Gronholm averted disaster to make a promising debut at the 2009 Pikes Peak international hillclimb. The world rally champion’s attempt was severely hampered when the rear tyre of his Ford Fiesta exploded, forcing him to limp home to a still-respectable fifth position in a time of 11min 28.963sec. Japanese rally star Nobuhiro ‘Monster’ Tajima claimed first prize in his Suzuki SX4 with a time of 10min 15.368sec.
