Fiat Panda Cross wins top 4×4 Award
Fri, 28 Nov 2008The Fiat Panda Cross, that mirculous little go-anywhere 4×4, which only came to the UK a few months ago, has won the Top 4×4 Award from 4×4 and MPV Driver Magazine. Well done! Amazingly, the judges put the little Fiat at the top of the pile, praising its affordability and off-road ability, and highlighting the cracking little 1.3 turbo diesel engine which makes this car shine.
Ferrari put LaFerrari online & live LaFerrari pictures from Geneva 2013
Fri, 08 Mar 2013Ferrari has put a new website up dedicated to LaFerrari with details and specifications and we have new live photos of LaFerrari from Geneva. We’ve already looked at the McLaren P1 from Geneva (it seemed only fair as LaFerrari grabbed the opening headlines at its first reveal), so, as requested by many, we’ve now got a Geneva live look at Ferrari’s new F150/F70/new Enzo – LaFerrari. The first photos we had of LaFerrari were Ferrari’s usual studio shots which told us it was glorious, but glorious on Ferrari’s terms.
Karmann-Ghia Coupé redesigned by Brazilian students
Wed, 31 Jul 2013The winners of the Karmann-Ghia Brazilian student competition to design a modern interpretation of its classic Volkswagen Karmann-Ghia Coupé have been revealed. Over almost 60 years the German-Italian company has become an important supplier of car bodies and tooling in Brazil, but the market has lacked a model carrying the Karmann-Ghia badge since the '70s. The original coupé, which inspired the contest, was launched in Brazil in 1962 and remained in the market for 10 years before it was replaced by the Volkswagen SP – considered the first car completely developed in the country.
