These are an original set of Kelsey Hayes wheels rims that are extremely rare.

They are called Stripper or Satin Stripper wheels, or called 20 spokes.

15" diameter, 6" wide, 3 1/2" back spacing, bolt pattern is 5 x 4 1/2" or 5 x 114.3

These were on a 1969 Cougar XR7 428 SCJ Drag Pack car.  Raced in the early 70's.

They have been stored in doors for years and are completely original and unrestored.

Kelsey Hayes only produced these wheels from 1967 to 1968 and there were found on Yenko Copo Shelby Cougar Torino and other exotics.

Ford used these wheels on many of their factory drag cars in the early 70's.

The tires are old and cracked, not worth anything.  Will be removed before shipping.

If my asking price is met, I will pay for shipping anywhere on the continental US

Sorry, no lug nuts.

Video: BMW’s beautiful Design Portrait of Karim Habib

Wed, 20 Feb 2013

We're often inundated with videos from OEMs. Many are thinly-disguised PR-laden party political broadcasts but occasionally we're presented with gems such as this Design Portrait of Karim Habib from BMW. Ok so we don't really believe the Head of Design, BMW Automobiles sits dreamily sketching at a perfect desk with only a delicate espresso for company or that he cruises Munich in a (gorgeous) 2002 tii oldtimer for inspiration, but as an insight into what makes Habib tick, his design philosophy, and how he came to be in such a position, it's a beautifully-shot treat.
