EL-48525 is required to properly diagnose the driver and passenger side inflator modules.
EL-48525 is connected to the SIR inflator module connectors and eliminates the inflator module as the cause of the failure mode.
Attempts to diagnose the SIR side inflator modules without EL-48525 may result in component damage and/or increased labor time.
