The only thing that has been opened is the software case. the instruction booklet has a date of 2006, so I believe it`s from that year. As I said earlier, this is a brand new unused tool, I will gladly take a return on this and issue a full refund if it`s not what I described,(not return shipping) but I will NOT take it back if it has been opened.
