Kenwood KMR-M315BT

Marine digital media receiver (does not play CDs)

Leave those discs on the dock

Kenwood's KMR-M315BT digital media receiver lets access the music on your phone, iPod, or other portable device when you head out onto the water. This rugged receiver will withstand the sometimes-harsh marine environment,

and its 4" deep chassis also makes it a great choice for ATVs, side-by-sides, golf carts, and other applications where a regular CD player really isn't an option.

Works with Apple or Android

The KMR-M315BT works with all the latest gear, so you can keep the music going all season long. Got an iPod® or iPhone®? You can plug your player into the front-panel USB input to access your playlists. Dedicated "search" and "return" buttons,

plus handy tools like AppMode, Alphabet, Percentage Skip, and Related Search, help you find your music fast. You'll also be able to use Siri® Eyes Free control capability with a compatible iPhone.

If you store your music on an Android device, you can connect and control your phone using the front USB port or the receiver's built-in Bluetooth with aptX. You'll be able to run the apps you like, enjoy CD-quality sound, and take advantage of a

variety of search and playback features. Hands-free calling is another Bluetooth benefit that's sure to please any captain.

Plenty of entertainment options

You don't have to rely on your phone for entertainment, however. You can liven up your cruise by plugging in a thumb drive or jacking another device into the front-panel aux input. The KMR-M315BT can play MP3, WMA, WAV, and even lossless FLAC files,

so you'll be able to enjoy your entire music library. The variable-color 1.5-line LCD display makes it easy to see song titles and channel information, even when you're blasting through choppy water.

The center of your boat's system

You can connect up to six optional Kenwood marine remotes to control the KMR-M315BT from anywhere on your boat. And, if you're a satellite radio fan, add a SiriusXM tuner (subscription required) to enjoy all your favorite music, sports, and talk,

even when you're miles offshore. This Kenwood features three sets of preamp outputs, so you'll be in good shape when you decide to add marine amplifiers to your system.

Designed for marine use

Kenwood built this receiver to handle the rugged conditions of the marine environment. It features a conformal coating that keeps moisture out of the internal circuitry, plus special double covers for the USB and aux inputs on the front panel.

Installation note: This marine radio is water-resistant, but we recommend mounting it in a water-resistant enclosure or using a COVER for best performance.

Kicker KM604B

6-1/2" 2-way marine speakers

Great sound, subtle design

These powerful Kicker 6-1/2" speakers are tough enough for marine duty, but easy on your ears. The durable poly woofers and 1/2" balanced dome tweeters cut through wind, waves, and engine roar

to deliver great sound without annoying harshness. The classic white grilles will look great in your boat, too.

Like all KM Series models, Kicker designed these 4-ohm speakers for life on the water, with sealed motors, rubber cone surrounds, and locking terminal covers to keep spray away from the internal

componentry. They'll also stand up to harsh sunlight, thanks to special UV treatments on the cones, surrounds, baskets, and grilles. Whether you're on fresh water or salt, these speakers will give

you years of outstanding performance.

These speakers may also be recognized under the model numbers

of KM6204B 11KM6204B BKM60 BKM60B

These Speakers are what's considered "Bulk Packaged" Meaning that they ship withOUT the standard Retail Box Packaging, these are 'EXACTLY" the way we receive them from KICKER
and these Speakers are 100% BRAND NEW Never Used and Covered with a Full 1 Year Warranty.

Driven: a week with a Chevrolet Volt

Mon, 22 Aug 2011

In Fall 2010, before the Volt went on sale in North America, we sampled an early build model and came away so impressed, we declared it the car for the digital age. Since then the car has received harsh criticism from the press and been outsold by the Nissan Leaf in the North American market. Given the unique powertrain, we felt longer exposure to the Volt was therefore in order, so on a recent trip to Michigan, we lived with one for five days.

Peugeot EX1 electric concept car (2010) first pictures

Wed, 22 Sep 2010

This is the Peugeot EX1, a two-seat electric roadster concept car built to celebrate the French brand’s 200th anniversary. And the EX1 will let Peugeot usher in its bicentennial in style as it’s just notched up a number of electric car world records. It’s almost entirely carbonfibre, and the rear-hinged doors contain the seats, so you sit on the buckets before swinging your whole body into the metal and leather-lined cockpit.

Ferrari ups profits while cutting production (2013) CAR report

Thu, 01 Aug 2013

Eyebrows were raised in May 2013 when Ferrari chairman Luca di Montezemolo confirmed to a group of journalists, including CAR’s own Ben Barry, that the illustrious supercar maker wanted to slow its production rate and sell fewer cars in 2013. The strange-sounding order was decreed to help the brand retain its exclusivity, yet despite the gastric band on output, the Ferrari boss insisted profits could be upped. Impossible?
