Corrie's Knox in drink-drive arrest

CORONATION STREET actress Barbara Knox has been arrested for drink-driving. The 80-year-old - who plays the role of Rita Tanner in the ITV soap - was held on suspicion of driving under the influence at her local police station in Knutsford, Cheshire. The veteran actress had gone there after her daughter, Maxine Ashcroft, 56, was earlier arrested for the same offence.

Historic Brough Superior hits the auction block

Motorcycle pioneer and racer George Brough's 1925 prototype Brough Superior SS 100 Alpine Grand Sport has a shot at breaking the world record for motorcycles at auction on Dec. 15. Camaro poised to claim pony-car sales title over the Mustang for first time since ’85

With just weeks left in the year, Chevrolet’s hot-selling Camaro looks like a lock to win the pony-car sales title in 2010, topping the Ford Mustang for the first time in 25 years. So far this year--Camaro’s first full sales year since production ended after the 2002 model year--Chevy has sold 75,685 Camaro coupes. Mustang sales totaled 68,264 through the first 11 months of the year.
