I purchased a 1940 Lincoln Zephyr from an estate sale.
The owner had a fish processing plant in Alaska and had this Kermath Sea Zephyr engine for parts for the 40 Lincoln Zephyr since it was the same V12 292 engine.

From the serial data plate:
Upton Gear and Vee drive
Weight 1225 LBS
Serial Number: VZ-FWH41427
Kermath, Detroit Michigan

From the Upton final drive serial data plate:
Upton Reverse and Final Drive

Engine is complete with the manifolds and drive. Has been sitting in the garage for 40+ years.
I know little about the marine side of the engine as I am a car guy but understand the significance of Kermath and their reliability.

Engine is in Seattle WA.
Buyer responsible for all shipping as I will not ship it.

Fell free to ask questions and I will answer then to the best of my ability.

F1 goes all arty with oil: Lewis Hamilton portrait

Mon, 08 Jun 2009

By Peter Adams Motoring Issues 08 June 2009 14:00 It’s not often that the motoring world slickly merges with art, but Mobil 1 has made it happen. US artist David Macaluso has painted a portrait of Lewis Hamilton using oil not from a tube of paint, but from the sump of Hamilton’s F1 car. The oil was taken from Vodafone McLaren Mercedes’ 2008 F1 car – the vehicle that took Hamilton to the world championship last year.

Top Gear Tonight: Burma Road Trip part 2

Sun, 16 Mar 2014

Top Gear continues its Road Trip across Burma tonight In best Top Gear tradition, series 21 ended up just five episodes long, with last weeks episode being the first part of the Top Gear Christmas Special road trip through Burma. Tonight’s Top Gear – which you can think of as episode 7 of series 21 – is part two of the much delayed 2013 Christmas Special with the boys picking up where they left off last week, heading through Burma on the way to Thailand and the River Kwai. Having got to grips with their less than cutting edge lorries and suffered the Burmese equivalent of truckers’ overnight truck stops, Clarkson, May and Hammond are now heading further in to uncharted territory – certainly for Western Media – as they head towards Thailand and the River Kwai.
