Skoda Fabia

Tue, 19 Aug 2014

Skoda gave us its first indication of the new Fabia's design direction at the Geneva show earlier this year. There, its new city car's lines were upscaled to fit the VisionC coupé concept, memorable as much for its nuclear green paint job as its sharpened surfaces. Aventador Sold Out. Will that mean cheap Gallardos?

Fri, 04 Mar 2011

Lamborghini Aventador LP700-4 - sold out for 2011 With production of the Lamborghini Aventador LP700-4 likely to run at no more than about 1,000 cars this year, it’s not the biggest shock in the world that we’re hearing every single LP700-4 slot for 2011 is already sold out. Whatever way you look at it, the LP700-4 does offer a remarkable set of performance stats, all wrapped up in a typically Lambo-esque body. It even gets a carbon fibre tub – long the preserve of the real high-end hypercars – and 0-60mph times that will spank the Huayra and have the Veyron looking over its shoulder.

Top Gear Tonight: Burma Road Trip – yes, it’s Top Gear Christmas in March

Sun, 09 Mar 2014

Wet in Burma in part 1 of the Top Gear Christmas Special Top Gear tonight – episode 6 of series 21 – isn’t actually part of the regular series twenty one (that was done and dusted with last week’s Porsche 918 Spyder episode) but is the first part of a two part Christmas Special Road Trip. Yes, March is a bit late for a Christmas Special, but it’s becoming the Top Gear norm. What isn’t normal is the fact that there are no cars for Messrs Clarkson, Hammond and May to drive, instead they’re all in beaten up trucks bought sight unseen from the internet for a road trip across Burma to the River Kwai.
