ITEM: A vintage bag of 4 New Old Stock Blank Keys marked B-44 USA P1098e one side.  There is a tiny hole in this bag and it appears the original owner removed one key from this plastic bag.  These keys were purchased at the estate sale of key cutter that closed up his shop in the early 1990's.

SIZE: This bag measures approximately 4 1/2 inches by 3 1/2 inches.

CONDTION: These keys have no evidence of wear or use.

Scotland to ban petrol and diesel cars by 2050?

The Scottish government is aiming to ban all petrol and diesel cars from towns, cities and other communities by 2050. This is according to a new “Switched On Scotland” document, intended to serve as a ‘roadmap’ towards the future that encourages businesses and private motorists to swap to electric vehicles (EVs). Wired has just published a series of short articles entitled 13 Lessons for Design's New Golden Age. While there are some interesting examples cited in the piece, the concluding article, ‘Why Getting It Wrong Is the Future of Design' by the former creative director of Wired magazine, Scott Dadich, feels like it has particular resonance for car design. Dadich's Wrong Theory uses disruptive examples from the world of art, plus his own experience of working at Wired, to explain how design goes through phases: establishing a direction, creating a set of rules that define that direction and finally someone who dares to break from that direction.

The Interwebs have been full of an Enzo abandoned in Dubai and gathering dust being impounded by police and auctioned off this week. But we didn’t run the story.
