Wed, 13 Nov 2013New Audi A3 Cabriolet starts at £25,790 – first deliveries April 2014 The new Audi A3 Cabriolet – the fourth member of Audi’s A3 range – was revealed in September at the Frankfurt Motor Show and now, with first deliveries expected by spring 2014 in the UK, Audi has revealed the new drop-top A3 will cost from £25,790. That will buy you in to the entry-level SE trim which comes with a fully automatic roof in black, 16″ alloys, AirCon, MMI radio, iPod connection, DAB, Bluetooth and prep for an SD card Nav. The Sport and S Line sped A3s sit 15mm lower than the SE and get an acoustic folding roof in a choice of black, grey and brown and you can, if you wish, opt for the softer SE suspension or, if your season ticket for the chiropractor is up to date, spec the S Line with sports suspension.
2013 Ford Kuga goes in to production
Mon, 03 Dec 2012The new (2013) Ford Kuga crossover – which debuted at Geneva in the Spring – has now gone in to production in Spain ahead of first customer car deliveries. Ford has announced it’s finally started to churn out the new Kuga at its plant in Valencia, and that the Kuga will be heading to Ford’s UK showrooms to get customer cars out in the new year. Despite starting production of the new Kuga, Ford still hasn’t come up with prices for its compact crossover, but says they will be available before the end of the year. On offer in the new Kuga is a range of new technology including the kick-to-open tailgate, Active Park Assist, Blind Spot Monitoring Torque Vectoring Control, SYNC and the first use of Ford’s EcoBoost engines in the Kuga (although no sign yet that the 1.0 litre EcoBoost will be added to the Kuga).
Gemballa MIG-U1 Enzo – details revealed
Tue, 12 Jan 2010The Enzo Ferrari based Gemballa MIG-U1 Just before Christmas a set of pictures of a Ferrari Enzo dropped in to our inbox. They turned out to be pictures of a modified Enzo created by Porsche specialist Gemballa and looked very appealing – although probably not to Ferrari aficionados who would no doubt think the Gemballa-ised Enzo to be sacrilege. But we didn’t have much detail on the Gemballa MIG-U1 (for that is the catchy little moniker Uwe Gemballa had attached to his Enzo creation) save what we could see.
