Gerry McGovern to head Land Rover Advanced Design

Gerry McGovern has been named Director, Advanced Design for Land Rover, and will be working alongside Geoff Upex, who continues as Design Director for Land Rover. Which is what this car essentially is, as the demand for 100 Aeromax hardtops was just so great that Morgan decided to build another similar model. The Supersports uses the same 4.8-litre V8 as the Aeromax, comes with a wood and leather-covered interior and features a bonded aluminium chassis that is cloaked by superformed aluminium panels.

Customers will pay between £85 and £165 on top of their 4x4's list price. The tax is optional, but Land Rover vows most punters will happily pay up to become carbon neutral.
