The synthetic plowline option is much safer than steel cables and are inexpensive and easy to replace when they wear out. The Soft Eye allows for easier connection to plows compared to steel thimbles and heavy duty nylon eyeguard helps to protect the rope from wear. Ford issues third recall for 2013 Escape
Wed, 05 Sep 2012Ford is recalling the redesigned 2013 Escape SUV for a third time this summer and the second time to fix a problem that could cause a fire in the engine compartment. The recall covers about 7,600 Escapes equipped with the 1.6-liter four-cylinder engine. About 6,150 of the recalled vehicles are in the United States, and the rest are in Canada.
Call for complete smoking ban in cars

That is the finding of a study of driver attitudes, where 71% said the Government should go further than it presently does to people smoking in cars. Of 7500 people polled, the study found 71% also believe smoking in cars should be made a criminal offence if children are in the car at the same time.
To thwart speculators, Lexus will lease, not sell, 500 LFAs

The company will offer only two-year leases for the $375,000 two-seater, said Brian Smith, vice president of sales and dealer development for Lexus division. Lexus will hang on to the vehicle's title.
