Skoda VisionC concept for Geneva 2014 debut

This is the first official teaser image of Skoda’s 2014 Geneva Motor Show star, called the Skoda VisionC concept. The new design study will be unveiled in Switzerland next month and previews “the next stage of development in Skoda’s design language”, according to the Czech brand. McLaren 12C Spider teased

McLaren has started to tease the 12C Spider – the convertible 12C – ahead of full details in the next few days. We’ve know that a convertible version of the McLaren MP4-12C – the 12C Spider – has been on the way for some time, but now it’s almost here. We thought McLaren would just come out and introduce the 12C Spider, but they can’t resist teasing, although we wonder if  McLaren might be trying to take some of the gloss off the UK debut of the Ferrari 458 Spider at Goodwood this weekend by revealing the 12C Spider before the end of the Goodwood weekend?.

Chevrolet updates Impala logo

Chevrolet has announced that its 2014 Impala will feature a redesigned emblem as the latest evolvement of the range's African antelope logo. The Impala model is one of only two vehicles – the other being the Corvette and its crossed-flags – in Chevrolet's range to have its own exclusive symbol, and thus it has been upgraded to complement the design of the latest model. Joann Kallio, lead creative designer for Chevrolet global badging, says, "We kept the stylized interpretation of the animal, and made the impala more muscular.
