Utica, Michigan, United States
A FACTORY OEM King Bendix KCU 565/A Digital Control Unit Maintenance/Overhaul Manual. THIS IS A GENERAL STATEMENT ABOUT ALL THE King/Bendix manuals, please read. These manuals came from an Aviation mechanic, they are used and show wear. The manuals are loose leaf style, and some pages have come loose. Some are hundreds, even thousands of pages, I can not guarantee all the pages are in the manual. But so far when I thought a page was missing, I found it stuck in the manual and out of place. Overall I would say they are in GOOD USABLE CONDTION, they are full of diagrams, schematics, part numbers, board views, troubleshooting, step-by-step instructions, and TONS OF VALUABLE INFORMATION. Some have updated pages/notes/service bulletins/copies stuck in them. I have left the manuals how they came. I can only assume any info put into or omitted from is of value. The item in the picture is the item you will receive. NO STOCK PHOTOS. SPECIFIC TO THIS MANUAL VERY GOOD USABLE CONDITIOIN, loose pages, NO INSTALLATION MANUAL, light staining-back pages. Sections: Installation Manual Sections I/II/III, Maintenance/Overhaul Manual Sections: IV Theory of Operation, V Maintenance, VI Illustrated Parts List.

Think, again: Norwegian electric-car maker looks for U.S. plant
Thu, 12 Mar 2009Think, the Norwegian electric-car maker, says it plans to build an assembly plant and a technical center in the United States. After financing failed in the wake of the collapse of credit markets in late 2008, the company entered Norway's debt-settlement process (the equivalent of Chapter 11 bankruptcy), and production of its recently redesigned Think city car was halted. It continues operating under a $6 million interim funding measure while it pursues additional financing.
SAE approves new fast-charging standard for EVs, plug-ins
Tue, 16 Oct 2012SAE International said it has approved a new technical standard that will dramatically reduce charging times for plug-in hybrid electric vehicles and electric vehicles. The global engineering group said the new charging standard, developed with the cooperation of more than 190 automakers, utilities and equipment builders, will allow charging times to be reduced from as long as eight hours to as short as 20 minutes. Automakers want DC direct charging to take less than 10 minutes, or roughly the time it takes to fill a tank with gasoline. The goal is to accommodate currents as high as 500 volts distributed from public charging stations.
