Subaru recalls 2011 Legacy, Outback models for moonroof fix

Subaru is recalling 69,590 copies of the 2011 Legacy and Outback because of a problem with the moonroof. The glass has been known to loosen and detach from the roof while driving, according to the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration. NHTSA says that the adhesive between the glass and the retainer was inadequately applied.

Saab targets customers' hearts, brains and wallets in North America

Saab executives said they're optimistic the struggling brand will be able to attract customers despite production stoppages at the company's Trollhaettan, Sweden, plant and cash flow problems. The Swedish automaker aims to target consumers and instill confidence with a grass-roots marketing campaign that focuses on the "heart, brain and wallet," Saab Cars North America President Tim Colbeck told reporters at Saab's North American headquarters in suburban Detroit on Thursday. Colbeck said the company must move away from selling vehicles based on price and focus more on making customers enthusiastic about driving Saab's vehicles.

O'Sullivan unhurt after supercar crash

SNOOKER ACE Ronnie O'Sullivan escaped unscathed from a car crash as he travelled home from defeat in the Dafabet World Championship final. The five-times world champion and his six-year-old son, Ronnie Jnr, were travelling in a two-seater Audi R8 sports car when it spun out of control on the M1 near Leicester at around 1.30am. Neither suffered serious injuries but they were understood to have been left "shaken" after pulling themselves out of the wreckage.
