King Loop Cable Connector Block for KA42B Loop Sense Antenna and KR86 & KR85 ADFs

These connector blocks were cut off of Loop Cables (King pn 155-2057-01) which were unusable because they had been previously cut too short.
(The Loop cables for these ADFs are a critical length. Shortening or lengthening will adversely affect ADF performance.)
These assemblies are being sold as replacement parts, for an existing installation, where the connector has become corroded.

Please note that these blocks were available with two different size guide pin holes. The early KA42B antennas had 3/32" diameter guide pins.
Later KA42B antennas had somewhat larger guide pins (1/8" diameter). The smaller guide pin holes can easily be drilled to the larger size.
At the time of listing, we have blocks, with either guide pin hole size, in stock (as shown in the photos).
If you have an antenna with the smaller guide pins, please say so, when you order, and we'll send you the appropriate block (assuming that someone else didn't buy it first).

No documentation is included with this item.

We have some additional installation items for these ADFs in stock. Contact us, if you are looking for a tray, or connector assembly. We may be able to help.

Wed, 09 May 2012

BMW M5 M Performance Edition BMW is teasing two new performance cars with short videos – the BMW M3 M Performance Edition and the M5 M Performance Edition. It seems today is the day car makers stopped sending press releases. First we had Aston Martin not bothering to send out any information on the DBS Ultimate Edition before revealing it on their site, and now BMW are playing the same game.

Qoros GQ3: Chinese rival for the Ford Focus revealed

Sun, 23 Dec 2012

The first of a new range of cars from the Chinese Qoros brand – the Qoros GQ3 – has been revealed ahead of a debut at Geneva 2013. Three months ahead of that reveal Qoros has jumped in with a reveal of their first offering and some details about what it has on offer. Unsurprisingly, the reality is somewhat less exciting to look at than the dynamic-looking teaser image we saw last month. Planned to go on sale in both China and Europe during 2013 the Qoros GQ3 is aimed at young buyers, although why any car company would build a C-Segment saloon and expect young buyers to lap it up in Europe is beyond us.

New York Auto Show 2008 blog

By Liz Turner Motor Shows 21 March 2008 12:11 In the early 1970s, muscle cars hit the wall of emissions regulations and disappeared for decades. At the New York Auto Show, there was a sense of déjà vu. Dodge had its Challengers, Pontiac launched its G8 GXP and Sport Truck and Chevrolet, although still waiting for the Camaro had the Corvette ZR1.
