Includes:

• Kinsler Jet Selector Valve (#3404):
  • Allows drive to select 8 different main bypass jets while the engine is running:
  • Note: there are no jets included with this valve
  • All the jets in the valve can be changed in a few minutes by simply removing them and installing new ones
  • Uses Kinsler matched jets in increments of .002" or greater, but can also use Hilborn jets
  • Hard anodized aluminum construction for long life, and for use with all fuels
  • The coarsely, knurled aluminum knob is easy to grip, even while wearing gloves
  • Can be dash-mounted or remote-mounted
  • Valve can be used with any brand of injection system
  • Includes:
    • Installation kit, which consists of trim plate with screws, springs, shim, instructions, lapping paper, and 3 spare body o-rings
    • -6AN hard anodized male flare fittings
  • Weighs only approximately 0.65 lbs with fittings and trim plate
  • DON'T confuse the Kinsler Jet Selector Valve with Dial-A-Jet or others; only the Kinsler valve allows you to work with machined K-type jets, and change all jets
  • Again, the valve allows for making jet changes while driving:
    • Lean the engine during caution laps to save fuel and prevent loading up
    • Fastest top speed can be found by running at full speed & dialing in different jets; use caution if high speed bypass is installed in fuel system)
    • Instant jet changes for extra fast adjustment in the vehicle
    • Adjust the fuel rate to suit any driving condition, from cruising to all-out performance
    • Adjust for changing track conditions or controlling engine temperature

• Kinsler Range Jet Valve (#3020):
  • A range jet valve is required when the Selector valve is installed and the main bypass jet exceeds .100" diameter.  This is because very high flow through the jet selector causes enough turbulence to affect the stability of the flow through the jets in it.  The accuracy of the valve is excellent when used with jets under .100"
  • Includes 2 Tee Fittings
  • -6 AN ends
  • How it works:
    • The range jet creates a constant bypass around the jet selector valve, so the flow passing through the jet selector is reduced
    • An added bonus of the Range Jet Valve is that the jets in the Jet Selector Valve don't have to be changed....if a richer or leaner set of jets is needed, merely change the jet in the Range Jet Valve to a smaller or larger one, and this changes the range of all 8 jets in the Selector valve.  Much easier, quicker, and cheaper
  • Plumbing:
    • Arrange the 2 tee fittings, as shown below, so the flow to and from the Range Jet Valve will be flowing through the "straight through" side of the tee

Selecting the Jets required for Jet Selector and Range Jet Valve:

• If using a Range Jet Valve, Kinsler's recommended jets in the Jet Selector Valve should be:
  • For alcohol: .050", .058", .066", .074", .082", .090", .098", and .106" (.008" increments)
  • For gas: .062", .066", .070", .074", .078", .082", .086", and .090" (.004" increments)
• These jet increments are about twice as coarse as Kinsler recommends if there weren't a Range Jet Valve in the system.  Since there is always flow bypassing through the Range Jet, the effect of changing from one jet size to another in the Jet Selector is reduced by about half.  If the Range Jet Valve weren't in the system, they would recommend .004" increments for alcohol and .002" increments for gas
