Kirban Billet Aluminum Adjustable Fuel Pressure Regulator for Ford Mustang or Cobra.
PN KPP-5018

Used on my 1997 Mustang Cobra for a couple years until the fuel rail upgrade that is listed in my other auctions. Works great and very useful for dialing in new tunes after installing new parts.

Description:
Maximize the performance of your EFI fuel system with a wide range adjustable high flow fuel pressure regulator. This billet aluminum regulator is a direct replacement of the stock regulator utilizing the stock mounting interface.

  • Fuel pressure regulator is fully adjustable from 30-100psi allowing the performance enthusiast to finely tune the EFI fuel system which is especially useful when matching aftermarket fuel pumps and fuel injector nozzles.
  • The slightly smaller than the stock size allows installation with virtually any aftermarket intake manifold.
  • Large internal fuel feed and return ports improve fuel flow over 30% reducing restriction of the regulator which is essential in any performance application using a high flow electric fuel pump(s).
  • High quality billet aluminum design uses two internal o-rings that eliminate any possible leakage.
  • Boost sensitive (perfect for turbo applications) vacuum port location is same as stock.
  • 100% Made in America!

Applications:
Ford Mustang
  • 1994-1995 5.0l
  • 1994-1996 5.8l
  • 1996-1997 4.6l
  • 1998 4.6l Cobra (32 valve)

Sun, 31 Jan 2010

The Peugeot 107 (pictured) and the Citroen C1 are being recalled for faulty accelerators Update: We have heard from Citroen who tell us just 36 C1s in the UK are affected by the sticking accelerator problem. Update 2: We’ve now heard from Peugeot who say 6,000 Peugeot 107s in the UK are affected by the faulty throttle pedal. This last few days have turned out to be a real nightmare for Japanese car makers, with first the Toyota recall for a sticking accelerator and then the Honda Jazz/Fit recall for a faulty electric window switch.

One Lap of the Web: Remembering the dearly departed

Tue, 29 Apr 2014

-- With news that Toyota is leaving the great state of California for the greater (by landmass, anyway; your own opinion may vary) state of Texas, it's worth reminding ourselves that Toyota in America started as one lonely building on 6000 Hollywood Blvd., having taken over a former Rambler dealership. (The site is still a successful Toyota dealership.) That first year of sales in 1958 saw 287 Toyopet Crowns and one Land Cruiser sold -- more as curiosities than as practical transportation, we'd wager. -- At any rate, Toyota's move from California to Texas is moving from "one of the most eco-friendly states in the union," according to Ward's Auto, "to the U.S.’s equivalent of China." -- Ten years ago today, the last Oldsmobile rolled off the line at Lansing Car Assembly.
